Life is all about having the right attitude

image-source-stockfresLife is all about attitudes. Attitudes affect our behavior but it is also true behavior affects our attitude.

Every time we go to a party, social or spiritual function- we sing, we dance, we laugh. Even if we arrived the venue as depressed or sad, as we unconsciously mimic the motions of singing, dancing or laughing, we trigger a new set of positive emotions and these in no time create a positive attitude.
By mimicking these happy people we become happy too.
You may have no control over why we were born or to whom we were born, heritage or family history and circumstances but we can decide to choose a positive outlook on life.
You can decide to alter our outlook from negative to positive and we should.
At the end of life, it’s all going to be about choices- what we chose to do and not do when we had a life.
And the best choices, they are made when you have the right attitude.
“Be not afraid of life. Believe that life is worth living, and your belief will help create the fact.”
― William James; 1897

However, what struck me was a statement made by the speaker that ‘men and women have more anal sex than homosexuals do so it would be a mistake to limit issues surrounding anal sex to just the confines of homosexuality’. He is probably right and the rise of Anal Cancer in both men and woman is proof of this. Continue reading Anal Sex and Anal Cancer

He didn’t stop at that, he suggested that we all should cut down our hours of sleep to match his. He eloquently ‘calculated’ that if we sleep for the recommended seven to eight hours every night, by the time we are seventy years old, we would have slept for ‘about 18 years’- ‘imagine what you could do with the extra 18 years, he asked’ The crowd roared and the man exited the stage. That message was so inspirational, I could feel the energy in the room, but boy, the man is so wrong! Continue reading Sleep is What You Need!
